Szpilka would be a good opponent. He's no pushover.

Well Jennings was able to beat him widely and that fight was the highest level Szpilka every fought on. IMO Wilder is on a higher level than Jennings.

The Briggs fight would've brought more ratings, but Artur is clearly the better fight. With that said Wilder in 10.

Szpilka is better now than that fight --- and he had visa issues the week leading up to the fight... he had to fly back and forth from poland twice to get a pointless document signed. That definitely didn't help him

Wilder is a tough opponent though with his huge size and reach. I just hope Szpilka can get in and use his sharp uppercuts. He needs to defend himself well in this fight.

Why they keep putting the heavyweights on Showtime, Wilder need to be on NBC/CBS

I think Jennings is a better boxer than Wilder. Deontay is still raw as hell, he just happens to have good power which so far has helped him win despite his flaws.

I'm not that hot on Szplilka, saw all I needed to see out of him when he was stopped by Jennings. Haven't been impressed by him feasting on bums either. Not too sure how he holds a wbc #8 ranking.

He's ranked that high because who else should be ranked before him? Not that good of a division right now. He's got a good record and has fought some ok boxers for such a young age. The Adamek win helped him out a lot. Szpilka was the best pick Wilder could've have done under the current circumstances.
