After watching a highlights package of his career, I became a bit skeptical about how hard he really hits. You'd notice most of his opponents are not fighting back and Joshua ends up using them as a heavybag - there's only result when that happens. Adding to that is the fact that the stoppages came after an accumulation of punches rather then that 1 punch KO that guys like Mike Tyson had.
Now I followed his amateur career very closely and he was not really a notable puncher. He was more of a boxer and when he faced a big puncher he ran for his life. In the Olympic Games he didn't even get 1 stoppage and all of a sudden he turns pro and becomes some knockout machine?
He's got potential no doubting that but the hype seriously needs to stop.
