There's a big difference between cutting 5lbs to get to weight and cutting 25lbs to get to weight.

People keep ignoring the fact, but Andre Ward was 173.5lbs with three weeks to go to the Paul Smith fight. To simply try and act as if Andre Ward was just some massive dude, with the reality being what it is, makes you look ******.

As a Ward fan I could see why you'd be so confused by your hero. One second he says he needs time to move up to 175lbs and that he needs to do it the right way and that once he does he can never move back down to 168lbs. Anyway, BoxRec lists Ward and Kovalev as having the same height. Other sources claim Ward has 1 or 2 cm over Kovalev. It doesn't matter, they are the same size, there's no difference really. Now they are similar in height, reach, weight. An even match.
