Since the olympics (2000)- Sam Peter (although still green), Calvin Brock, and other up-comers/contenders have been growing into a professional fighter while Audley Harrison's boxing ability is still geared towards the amateur ranks. In order for him to be a force in the division he needs to learn to box/fight in the pro ranks.

The man has all the attributes to be a complete fighter and possible belt holder but until he realizes that he needs to change his boxing style then he's going nowhere fast.

BTW, he's always trying to sound like he's educated.....Well, he should he be smart enough to realize that his BS - jabbing for points strategy - only works in the Olympics.....I mean **** it's only been 6 years. Audley, use your brain and grow a pair because that last performance was

    1. Really embarrassing, I would have felt like that anyway.

    2. Utterly disappointing for boxing viewers to watch.

    3. Passionless....take pride in your work and show some heart.

you have to be a complete piece of **** to taunt your opponent when you know very well you are losing and your trainer is telling you that you are losing. which is what audley is.

audley harrison's performance tonight was the kind that makes the average guy on the street believe he has what it takes to be the champ.

          2. It's a jabbing contest scored by how many times you touch your opponents. He's got reach and he's fast.

          3. THE ROUND ARE LIKE 1 MINUTE a piece and they only compete for like 3 rounds! Of course Wlad's gonna be able to finish a fight that short.
The rounds are 2 minutes long. If you don't even know how long the rounds are you obviously have no clue what your talking about.

Not necessarily. Audley just made a mistake in thinking he could go it alone in this business. But as he has found to his cost, you just cant do it without a well known promoter to guide you along. Audley should have signed with Frank Warren when he had the chance. Warren would have made him a credible contender for sure.

If he does want to continue boxing I think he'll need to go cap in hand to Frank Warren and hope one of his undercard fights are on. He has no chance of making it by himself now. The trainers kroom and torrence aren't the best for him and I think he needs to change if he does continue

The chances of that happening is the same as me winning the national lottery. Audley is too proud to even contemplate this. There is also much bad history between the him and Warren for that to happen. If this is the end of the road for Aud, at least he can console himself with the fact that he robbed the BBC of £1 million.
