Do they have anyone besides Canelo? I think it's hard to win if you only have one guy like Floyd Sr..... The trainers of superstars don't get a lot of credit unless they also have other guys that perform well like Roach has had recently.

Yeah they don't have anyone notable other then Canelo but Canelo have had a great year imo and they got to get credit for it.

Other than the Postol fight, Freddie Roach trained fighters had gotten the L. Prov, Shiming, Pac, Cotto...

If a trainer that have had a great year with afew fighters that maybe JDJ and Ronnie Shields..

Definitely Peter Fury. I think he came up with a brilliant plan to defeat a guy who hadn't lost in over a decade. It wasn't exciting lol, but it was brilliant all the same.

What Peter has done with Tyson over the past couple of years is nothing short of remarkable.

I never would have expected that fat sloppy clumsy guy we saw in his early career to toy with the Heavyweight Champion like that.

Based on the names presented on the ballot, the award should go to Joe Gallagher, hands down (maybe Floyd Sr, as he hasn't had any fighters under his watch take high profile L's this year)
