Comments Thread For: Whyte: You Look Deep, You'll See Joshua is a Scumbag!

Dillian Whyte believes his presence unsettles Anthony Joshua and that the Olympic champion hides behind a veneer of media training.

Whyte (16-0-KO13) faces Joshua (14-0-KO14) in a British and Commonwealth heavyweight title bout that tops a packed Sky Sports Box Office bill on Saturday - and Whyte has fired another broadside ahead of the clash at a sold-out O2.

You don't have to even scratch the surface to see that Whyte is one.

He has got a point. Joshua's interviews after fights is the exact same as the last 1. But whyte contradicts himself all the time as well

Being boring in interviews and not acting like a spoiled child doesn't mean you're a scumbag.

I guess Whyte has got to sell something with it being PPV. But he just comes across as desperate to me.

                Ah I dunno...

Whyte said in the Face-off that Joshua isn't who you think and I've seen instances that agree with that. I'm not going to fault Joshua, having a 'fame persona' isn't a bad thing but Whyte does have a point. For example, Joshua is really humble in post fight interviews etc you wouldn't think the kid could be brash. But then I've seen times where he's all ego and talking mad shit, didn't think it was him at first.

Whyte seems to know the guy on a personal level too so maybe he changed when he won Olympic gold.

Either way, it isn't much of a rivalry to the British public so I guess they need some angle. Fights like this don't really work until both men have earnt some notoriety. If Groves hadn't fallen off so hard, his rematch against DeGale would be big.

During that "Gloves are off" session, Dillian came off a little slow in the head.

He said he moved from Jamaica and had to learn to speak English. Forgive my naivety, but isn't English the official language in Jamaica? I know they speak some form of broken English, but it's still English... It can't be that much different.

Lol yes it's English. They talk "patwa" but that's just a style of English. I'm sure proper English is taught in the schools, etc
