Smith did not visibly "hurt" Ward, He did have a surprised look about him after the punch but I wonder if it was because how clean Smith caught him, defensive fighters tend to react that way even when they are not hurt. People thought Floyd had a bad chin at one point too because of the way he "reacted" to getting hit not because he was actually or visibly wobbled by punches. There's a difference.

I can't understand how Quillin became so much better after his loss to Jacobs. It's like GGG fans just decided to fabricate altogether how Quillin was seen as a big threat and how GGG critics were saying Quillin is the one. It's crazy but cong**** to Quillin for becoming such a good fighter all of a sudden.

More like the GGG detractors are acting like Quillin was much better than he was just so they can pretend Jacobs has a better resume, making him the "A-side" for a GGG fight, in turn supporting Jacobs when he ultimately declines to fight GGG when he's not offered 5 million. Jacobs will then be labeled as a "smart bidness mayne" and they'll say that GGG's team purposely offered him such little money in attempt to avoid fighting him.

I realize that's a lot of ifs but I know how the accountants on this site operate.
