Comments Thread For: Ramirez Has No Issue With Abraham Shot in Germany

Mexican super middleweight contender Gilberto "Zurdo 'Ramirez (33-0, 24KOs), who hopes to become Mexico's first super middleweight champion, has no issue with traveling to Germany for his mandatory shot against Arthur Abraham, the champion of the division under the World Boxing Organization.

Last month in Las Vegas, Ramirez won a decision over Gevorg Khantikian to stay busy. Abraham also had a win last month, with a tough decision victory over British boxer Martin Murray.

AHAHAHAHAAH Ramirez is Mexican yes hes American because Mexico is in the American continent but im sure your thinking American because you think he was born in the USA. Mexicans are known as ROAD WARRIORS cause they go anywhere to fight and usually win too. Look up the fights between Mexican vs Japanese or Puerto Ricans Philippines getting there Thailand as well. Mexicans go anywhere so comparing Mexican boxers to US boxers yeah no fail.

Cool. I like Ramirez. He has the right attitude and he understands he needs to keep improving. I don't know if he will ever be great (he has some weaknesses) but I will definitely be rooting for him. He will get the best out of himself.

Ramirez isn't that good but his activity alone will win him this fight. Abraham throws about 5 punches per round so it shouldn't be a problem.

I like this guy Gilberto "Zurdo 'Ramirez, he seems like a real ring warrior.

He's not afraid to travel outside the USA, unlike the cowardly Princess Andrea Ward.
