If he beats Canelo and Jacobs he trumps everything Ward has done its blatantly obvious Jacobs and Canelo >>>> Arthur Abraham, Carl Froch, drained Chad Dawson and so on

The only good win on Ward record that would be close to a win over Canelo or Jacobs would be Kessler but ofcourse GGG needs to get these wins first that AND Ward cheated to beat Kessler no honour in that.

Why are you talking about Ward? Little G fans are so obsessed with Ward

They'd rather try to play resume wars against him than actually see the two fighters in the ring

Nobody should complain about two wins over Jacabs and Canelo. Those are two sellable fights. The kind of fights GGG is looking for.

they are 2 fights he will be decently favored to win. imo if he wins both its time to move up to 168

Pretty sad. Can't brag about GGG's real resume, so brag about fantasy wins instead.

Pretty sad that it looks like Canelo might be trying to get out of it and its pretty sad that Jacobs never got to fight GGG in 2015 that's what's pretty sad, sad that people need to beg for guys like Rigo and GGG to not get their big fights instead begging for them to go up when there are plenty of big fights at their weight division.

Will some people still complain about his resume? will some people still argue that he needs to beat a man fighting at 175 to prove he's world class? Or will the critics be ok?
It doesn't matter who he beats. Haters will always have an excuse and a reason to dislike the guy. It's part of the new era of boxing fans. No matter what a fighter does it's never good enough or there are built in excuses for every win he gets. And God forbid they ever have a close decision that goes their way because people will scream robbery to the high heavens.

Fighters who also suffer from the new era of boxing fans:
Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez, Miguel Cotto, Danny Garcia, LSC, Abner Mares, Tim Bradley, Keith Thurman, Amir Khan and several others.

Good names especially Canelo, and those fights would sell too.

Agreed. It would be nice to see either one, though. The last thing I want to see is no real effort made by Golovkin's people for a Jacobs fight, followed by a bunch of talk blaming Haymon. At least make the effort.

Nothing happens, it will be same history. They are bums after GGG KO's them. The ultimate test for GGG is Ward, and only after that some fans will be ok with him.
