    What's next for Miguel Cotto?

Cotto is at the end of his career but he does have a couple of more good fights left. He'll most likely only be interested in big fights....Who do you think Cotto will fight next? Can Cotto make 147 again?

I think him & Jacobs should be having Roc Nation & Haymon fighting over the Lee vs BJS winner. Or if he feels better at 154 he should fight the best guy he can get down there. I keep coming up with Andrade as the best available opponent most likely, but I don't like that matchup for Cotto & think he'd catch a L there. Would be great for Andrade to get that fight doe.

another amazing comeback, line up the cripples

this will lead to another 300 million dollar superfight which he loses

he can keep doing this in theory until he is 90 and by then they may be able to rebuild him

trouble is theyd also be able to rebuild his opponents so he might run out of cripples to pad his record with

      fascinating stuff

I think 147 is out of the question. People keep calling him a "blown-up WW", but the reality is that he hasn't fought there since 2009 and he's always been a guy to rehydrate a lot when he was at 140. Canelo rematch, Trout rematch or Bradley @154. All of the young guys at 154 would give him serious issues.

Yea I don't hate the Bradley fight. I think Cotto is the bigger guy there who can probably play the Canelo role did last fight in that matchup. I tend to think Bradley will be on the table for Canelo doe & unless Canelo decides to fight GGG that will likely be what we see in May.

That wouldn't be a good fight for Cotto. Charlo is a big dude, he could easily fight at 160 and is 6′0. Fast, good boxer and a good puncher. I think Charlo wins and that fight would be great for Charlo to get some mainstream attention.

Bradley at 154 sounds like a good match-up.

He's either going to get a Canelo rematch, or I could see him going the easy route by fighting another Delvin Rodriguez type guy. Puts him back on the winning column and sets him up for a big fight later.

Canelo/Bradley would be such a clear physical mismatch. At least Cotto and Bradley have similar dimensions, but I don't think it would be that great to watch.

He is a smaller 154 pounder but he says 147 weakens him so he won't fight at that weight. He will take lots of time off. He took a full year off when he won the title from Martinez and that was way too long for a champion to take his title on vacation. He is no longer champion so it doesn't matter how long he takes off now. There are many good fights out there for him if he wants them. He is a big money maker so everybody wants to fight him. It's anybody's guess who he will fight next but it will probably be somebody he can make lots of money fighting.

Jermall's Jab would be too much for Cotto, not a good match up for him.

In all honesty, I think Cotto should retire.
