If Lemieux goes into attack mode like Jacobs did I don't hate his chances. Lemieux gots nice power too. With how space cadet hipster Quillin is I wouldn't be surprised if he's done or done for all intensive purposes (maybe goes & beats up on some more strippers &/or loses to the elite level guys he fights). I've often questioned his motivation & thought he's been getting by on natural talent for a long ass time. I think getting blasted out quick & embarrassingly like that will have some drastic career effects on a cat like Quillin.

Quillin tends to be inactive, and Lemieux is basically a simple brawler. Could go either way, both are pretty bad. I'd pick Quillin, but I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Before tonight I would have thought Quillen would beat Lemeiux. After watching him get knocked out in 95 seconds, I think Lemeiux gets him.

I think quillen has more skill by far but he is gun shy when being pressed. I actually think itd be a good fight while it lasted. Id give an edge to quillen but wouldnt put$ on him. In all reality though, in a perfect boxing world, if either of these guys wanted another title shot, they would have to face each other in a crossroads bout...

How could it NOT be a good fight, however long it lasts? Two of the top punchers in the division. Lemieux is now seriously underrated because of GGG's dominance against him, but he handled Rosado much better than Quillin did. I'd say it's a true 50/50 fight.

I would pick Lemieux by knockout. I don't think it's completely fair to judge Lemieux by how he looked against golovkin. Nobody was beating golovkin that night.

I don't think quillin can take a punch at all, and he will go back to being tentative like he was in the Lee fight.

After Lemieux stopped Guerrero he tried to fight Quillin (Peter just UD Konecny). Team Quillin turned down the fight.

"The world championship bout between David Lemieux and Peter Quillin will have to wait. The two clans had enjoyed discussions this spring, but according to Yvon Michel, the speedy victory of Quebecers against Fernando Guerrero has cooled the ardor of the camp of WBO champion. Michel Lemieux and manager Camille Estephan, will develop over the next few days the scenario for the next fight."
