The broadcast opened with a mild upset in the bantamweight division.

28-year old Jose Cayetano (18-4, 9 KO), 119 ½, of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, scored a seventh round stoppage of 30-year old former two-time 115 lb. title challenger Felipe Orucuta (31-4, 25 KO), 119, of Nicolas Romero, Mexico, when Orucuta was unable to continue after six rounds of action.

It was a 12 rounder, and one hell of a ****ing fight between two ex world champions. Man, holy **** what a war.

If this is Boxing newsworthy, then I accidentally bumped into my garage heavy bag this morning. Let me know if you guys need any details for an article.

Yes, it was a great fight. Lots of action, exchanges and two boxers that may be small in size but have giant hearts.

Man, Chihuas was putting in some serious work in the early rounds. It was an extremely fun fight to watch, close and intense. Wish Chihuas would have won but both men fought their hearts out. Wish the best for both of them, Rodriguez needs to move up for good to flyweight though.

He has always really been a fly. He's cutting into himself dropping extra.

It's so odd that his most successful run was at 105. He may bounce around between 108 and 112 very frequently, but he looks average to sub par damn near every time out. Don't get me wrong, he showed and proved a lot this past weekend against Moi, sadly he suffered another setback this year. I really hope he finally settles down at 112 for good, seeing as how he wasn't even able to make weight for the Fuentes fight this past Saturday. Best of luck to Moi and his hunt for a third installment of the Fuentes vs Nietes saga, although I seriously doubt he can pull off the upset, I'd still watch it solely for the entertainment value.

Also, some good fights to finish off the year at these weights throughout this month. We have:

                  Saul Alvarez vs Oswaldo Novoa
                  Luis Concepcion vs Giovani Segura
Kazuto Ioka vs Juan Carlos Reveco II
                  Javier Mendoza vs Akira Yaegashi

And of course the showcase fights of the Tanaka's, Inoue's return against a game Warlito, and much more from the land of the rising sun. Good stuff. Still shocked at Yaegashi's world title pull, seems like he's always in line for a title shot
