I also thought it was an early stoppage, until I saw his eyes on the replay. Good fight for Danny I am glad he had his moment.

Quillin got rocked on the temple so hard that he thought he was playing point guard for the University of Temple real quick. Good stoppage imo. He was gonna get world star'd bro.

Quillin spent over a minute taking good punches, i'm okay with that stoppage.

Lol the guy had no legs and was probably going to get lit up with undefended shots.

I definitely felt like Quillin shoulda been given a chance to continue & this was a bad stoppage, but there is at much fault to the fighter in this sorta situation.

If there isn't a standing 8 count you can't expect leeway by the ref. You need to take a knee when you are as seriously hurt as Quillin clearly was. If Quillin didn't take a knee because he wasn't of sound mind to make that determination or cuz he's got too big of an ego, as I suspect many fighters are, to take it idk, but he'd have likely saved himself this embarrassing KO by 1 addition to his resume by doing so in my estimation.

I don't know that I would call it great but it was certainly fair because Quillin was ****ed up, if you look that ****ed up it is certainly fair for the ref to call it right then in any round.

Quillin should have gone down it's his own fault he kept himself in a position to keep getting rekt while still being completely out of it. If he'd gone down gotten back up got an 8 count and regained his **** he may have survived it. Short of the ref deciding to give him a standing 8 count which I think he should have he did the second best thing.
