Jacobs has a chance sure to upset GGG but not a good one. U guys talking about best wins and resumes only need to watch the fights to c that GGG is the clear favorite.

It does not matter really. This is what sucks about the sport. Jacobs and GGG both may want to fight each other bad, but even if their management and promoters can make a deal, you then have the two Networks who will not want their guy to fight on a competing network. It happened recently because that fight was worth hundreds of millions. It was financially worth the effort for all parties. Not in this case. Showtime and HBO have their own best interests, and the fighters pay for it.

The situation is a little different though, as I don't think Jacobs is signed to Shotime, and is instead contracted to PBC, which makes time buys from networks, so free airtime from another network would be financially beneficial to them.

Quillin vacated his title to duck his mandatory, and drew with Lee.

Quillin was never a top MW, he hadn't proven to be elite.

Jacobs has been beat by fighters GGG would easily poop out.

The only difference here is Jacob didn't scare Quillin enough to make him duck him.

Quillin wouldn't even try to fight GGG.

And after the fight, when Jacobs named the top of the MW, he named Lee, Canelo, Cotto.

Guess who he didn't say, GGG.

The man is the regular champ to GGG being the real unified champ. Who is lined up to unify another title against Canelo, and Jacob doesn't want to utter his name.

Jacobs one lucky punch doesn't put him on the level of GGG, not even close.

And if Jacob was half as good as you seem to think, he'd at least talk like he wants GGG.

Jacobs is a legitimately skilled fighter. He was the standout US Amateur star, favored to bring home gold from the olympics, but he was upset in Olympic qualifiers and turned pro. He has a very good amateur background, and a solid skill set.

He is crafty, knows the tricks, and can punch. His chin isn't quite the greatest though. Thats his biggest weakness.

In all likelihood, Jacob would be little better than Lemieux was against GGG.

Arguing he is around the same skill level as GGG is pretty good for the Golden Boy. GGG is next level talent. Jacobs has always been close to next level talent, he just came up short when he had to prove it "Pirog".

I still think GGG wins the fight in dominating fashion, but Jacobs is a legit threat, and a legitimately talented fighter. He is not an Adriend Bronder or Andre Berto, he is an Andre Ward.
