A similar situation to Mares/Gonzalez.
Quillin still has a big punch and Danny still has a questionable chin.

It'd be a different story if Quillin got dominated over multiple rounds. Pete got caught and changed the dynamics of the fight on the spot. Danny never even got hit with a real shot. Rematch could go like everyone expected this one to happen.

LOL Peter was done. Even before the ref waved it off, Peter was looking up, probably thinking he was a spectator in the crowd himself.

That was quite impressive. In my view, a great stoppage... Quillin was out and it would have ended in much more dramatic fashion. Jacobs is the real deal. A GGG fight looks nice but unfourtanitly not many options with Haymon.

That first round reminded me of Taylor and Pavlik in the second round (100 haymakers thrown). The only difference is, Pavlik went down from the barrage and then survived. Quillin musta forgot.

and i dont think that golovkin can beat jacobs honestly jacobs has just as much power as golovkin if not more and is way more intangibly sound and FASTER than golovkin by far i dont think golovkin could catch him and cut the ring off effectively enough and jacobs can CRACK so golovkin aint gonna be in NO hurry to rush bc of the respect of the power just like he was with lemieux who brought NOTHING to the table BUT POWER
golovkin has NEVER fought a fighter like Jacobs
but dont try to make it seem like jacobs is "scared" bc he aint THERE IS A THANG IN BOXING CALLED POLITICS AND HE'S ON ONE SIDE AND THE OTHER ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE THERE IS RED TAPE EVERYWHERE
I agree that politics will prevent the fight and that Danny has real balls. I don't agree that Danny has a prayer vs Golovkin, but that's just opinion.

I think Danny will have his hands more than full with Chris Eubank if Chris beats O'Sullivan and Danny keeps the title. I have little doubt that Andy Lee beats Danny if that fight happens.

At least he is a MW who fights at 160, unlike certain other MW fighters.

That's funny. Jacobs did well, but those shots coming from GGG would of put Kid on the mat for good.

I like Jacobs, now at least, but get out of here. GGG is unified MW champ. He has a record of 33-0 with 22 KO streak. He KO's over 90% of people who step up to him. He has never been tested 12 rounds.

Kid Co wouldn't even fight GGG, that's how much of a beast he is.

Second, GGG has been doing fighters like that for years. Jacobs has a good win, but he isn't anywhere near GGG's level.

I suspect he won't want to fight GGG either, or will ask for too much money.

Jacob has a glass jaw, GGG would do serious damage.

                NAME golovkins BEST WIN....
YOU say kid chok wouldnt fight him when hes explained this several times
even abel sanchez said its not bc of fear on the side of quillin WHAT DO YOU FOLKS BE TALKIN' ABOUT?
folks just make up somethin' then just create a new narrative.
golovkin has NO headmovent and his waist movement is damn near non existent if he was gettin touched by feather fisted willie monroe with 6 knockouts and was leaving his hands down i wish he would do that to jacobs bc he gon be layin in the stands with the fans
the "aura" these fans give golovkin who hasnt fought ANYBODY worth noting is empirical data that these folks DONT KNOW **** ABOUT BOXING
yet these are the same ppl who critique WELL ESTABLISHED fighters whove went up and down in weight for many years etc and have beaten way more QUALIFIED FIGHTERS than golovkin EVER has and he gets more praise by you cats bc of your biases.

                  Pulled a Korobov (vs Lee).

I find it to be deplorable, that GGG fans are using this tremendous victory by Danny Jacobs to somehow further GGG's resume, when he has fought neither man.

Quillin didn't even get a chance to become tentative like he usually does. I doubt Jacobs even thought he would hurt Quillin THAT early. Maybe he just got caught cold. I wouldn't mind a rematch just so Jacobs could stop him a second time. Quillin would be absolutely ruined if he gets stopped again.
