These refs always ruin the fights. This could have been a good fight; the ref should atleast give him a standing eight counts to allow him to gather himself and for himself (the ref) to make a better judgement call.

Initially I thought it was a bad stoppage but after looking at that replay Quillin was all over the place, he was getting lit up, and I'm not sure he would have survived that onslaught because there was a lot of time left in the round and Jacobs was connecting with almost all his punches.

After seeing his eyes during the replay, I'm pretty sure that Quillin was on a different planet. Can't really criticize the stoppage, because it looked like Quillin would have just gotten beaten unnecessarily.

Jacobs got dropped by Mora a light puncher. Quillin got dropped by a decent puncher Lee. Both would get knocked out by GGG.
