  • Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: That Was a Coward Move By Main Events

Brooklyn, New York - WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KO’s) held court with the media in New York at the Barclays Center, where the unbeaten fighter is set to return on January 16th - but there is no opponent set and time is running out.

A frustrated Wilder explained that his team had come to terms that one possible opponent, Vyacheslav "Czar" Glazkov - who walked away from the fight earlier this week.

The coward moves are all on Wilder.

And there IS/WAS an opponent ready and eager to fight you..

But you don't want nothing to do with that ironically!

      #BUM SQUAD!

Povetkin is the one who stalled the fight and asked for more time.

As for the topic, I don't really blame Main Events for what they've done. A mandatory position is better than a voluntary with options which is what they would have signed to face Wilder.
