I just figured out who Wilder might be fighting on January 12th. I think it might be Chris Arreola. Arreola's name has been tossed around all year and if he looks decent in his fight next Saturday, then I could see him taking the fight.

      Too soon.

Plus I don't think Chris wants to fight Wilder. Ever.

No it isn't. Arreola has been put on notice all year. If he's rededicated himself, is in good shape for the Kaufman fight and wins easily, then there's no reason why he can't take the fight on short notice. Actually I think it would benefit him. If Arreola takes care of business next Sat, then he has some momentum going into a January fight with Wilder.

They're negotiating a rematch between Wilder/Stieverne. I guess Stieverne look **** enough vs Rossy to give him another chance.

              I was thinking this.

They're both on the bill anyway and i don't think Stiverne has an opponent either so why not just put them together. Not a match i'd initially be interested in again but surely Stiverne is still a better opponent than any they can draft in with about a month to go.
