Barring some shifty behaviour from the WBC (always a possibility) or a massive amount of step aside money Wilder ain't bringing that green belt to the ring with Fury unless he beats Povetkin (and whoever he's fighting next of course). Disregarding his next opponents and looking past them to a future fight with Fury is a good way to get knocked out. Wilder needs to focus on what he's doing. Fury isn't going anywhere.

Yep. Frenchie did actually try, but yeah the Bronze Bumbler gets his lights put out by Fury... that is if Povetkin doesn't stop him first which is a distinct possibility.
