As far as I'm concerned he's the best HW of all time, especially if you're talking about head-to-head.

      You don't know Larry Merchant.

He was definitely NOT one of those guys.

Larry Merchant understood "modern era" from "pre-professional era", he explicitly understood weight as an advantage in boxing, even fat weight, and most importantly he respected the value of a hard punch!

Whether he could actually have beaten Lennox or not is hotly debatable, but W.Klitschko has a substantially better resume than Lennox Lewis and would be a slight favourite in H2H...

Peter and Haye would also have been 2 of the best opponents that Lewis ever faced. (Peter>Tua, Haye>Grant for example)

Peter would have been hard for Lennox to stop, he'd most likely survive.

It's unlikely Haye would allow Lewis to stop him and it's not even certain that Lewis would even win against Haye either.

The Lewis and Wlad eras are basically comparable in quality with the Wlad era being possibly slightly better in actuality if we want to split hairs!

I think HWs have gotten even bigger since Lewis.

Joseph Parker weighed 235.4 lbs against Meehan, and Anthony Joshua weighed 249 lbs against Cornish.

That chin wouldn't hold up in the golden era but he's definitely one of the most talented.

Wlad has no idea how to fight on the inside, he'd get mauled by Lewis, this is not debatable lmao. You're talking about one of the greatest inside fighting HW's of all time, vs a guy that doesn't even throw body shots.

Haye sucks against taller fighters, he struggled badly with Valuev a guy that should've lost to Holyfield lol. All he can do is throw his overhand right against taller fighters, it's predictable.

Peter should've lost to James Toney a year later after his fight with Wlad, he needed a robbery, then he went life and death with McCline getting dropped a bunch of times. C'mon son, you're reaching.

                  Lewis by KO.
