Maybe not catch weights, but if there were enough quality HWs, splitting the division would make sense. We've got a guy who refuses to budge from 160 (unless the opponent is a retired guy) but we should expect a natural 220lber to give up 50lbs to a giant?
That said, HW has been dead for a while so there's no need. The weight spread has kept some guys from being able to be competitive but splitting the division right now would absolutely cripple it.
