It seems like level playing field to me, he would go to 168 against a perceived lesser fighter but wouldn't give this advantage against a more dangerous fighter.

it would be cool if lil g was a real legit a side but he isn't.......when you're the a side because you have beaten legit competition and you bring money to the sport, i have no problems with the a side making demands. lil g hasn't done anything n his career to demand that ward needs to come down to 164 to fight him.
