You mean like how Ward was waiting for GGG to move up? Damn fella your arguments are as bad as Floyd's here LOL

Let me explain something to you. I wanted GGG to move up. I also saw GGG's 164 offer as a b|tch move, but Ward was being one also. All I could see was two camps creating arguments without intent. Both were riding the press as both were comfortable with where they were. Ward has since decided that moving up is his best option as either he had no fights at 168, or was in fact having trouble making weight after an extended layoff.

Here's the part you left out. Ward actually made a move. After beating up Kessler, Froch, and Dawson at 168, he has moved up to 175 (his 3rd weight class) with a contracted fight vs. Kovalev (#1 LHW) slated for Fall 2016.

What's Golovkin doing? Sitting around, waiting, hoping, praying. Fighting legitimate threats? You know, guys that can actually beat him? Nope. He hasn't done that once in his entire career.

Yet you still support the HOPE. Without showing any respect to THE GOODS. Damn shame. I would have thought at your advanced age you would have figured out boxing by now. I guess we all have our own learning curves.

And what GGG is doing is the exact same thing Ward did since 2011. Ward got lucky. He got in a tournament with big names. The cards all played out for him. What sucks for him is after that, he sat on it and let it all wither away. All his momentum was gone. So now he is in a position where he cannot dictate terms.

What I support is good fights. I see it all like this. I see a bunch of GGG fanatics defending him left and right. I also see a bunch of GGG haters using Ward as some proxy savior. Nobody could care less about Ward until GGG came along. I just sit idly by and watch it all unfold. Once in a while I jump into the madness for kicks. You can come up with weak insults about my age and my knowledge of the sport, I find it all funny. The bottom line is, deep down, even below all that GGG hate, you know your entire argument is moot.

But what Floyd said makes no sense. Are you going to move up and fight Andre Ward before Andre Ward moves up to fight Kovalev?' They never ask him that. Of course, you know why? Because it's going to be an easy fight for him [Ward]. Easy! Easy pickings!"

Why Ward wanna fight a mismatch? I feel some just want GGG to fight Ward not because they wanna see "the best vs the best" but they just dont like GGG for some reason, and know hes a easy fight for Ward. But ppl hate mismatches doe......
why would ggg want to fight cotto in a mismatch why does ggg want to fight andy lee in a mismatch? give me a break with that excuse

The first part is sad and clueless. The second part, man, I have no words. You win, Dean.

The first part is the truth, When GGG landed over here he was begging for fights. He had no middleweight tourneys to jump into did he? There is nothing sad and clueless about it.

The second part is the truth also. For how long was everyone sick and tired of Ward fighting in a courtroom instead of in the ring. It was an endless charade. Fans moved on. Once the GGG hate built up, all of the sudden the haters started calling Wards name, even at a time when they were not sure he would even fight ever again. Just take a step back, put your GGG hate away for a moment and look at the big picture. Tunnel vision does not work. LOL

Ward entered the Super Six as a green 25 or 26 year old that even most boxing fans didn't even think or care about. He was an afterthought. The Americans were gonna get run over in that tournament. Instead, Ward ran over the tournament. Beat each one of the Euro darlings. Sacrificed Kessler, finished Abraham, and humiliated Froch. Man, Ward doesn't even get credit for the Abraham win and Abraham just beat one of Golovkin's best scalps.

Ward is so good that a guy like Rodriguez (undefeated, #6 SMW) is seen as a tune-up for him. When Golovkin beats guys like that, his fans get on his knees and start humming. The problem with this argument is we'll never know who would have won the fight. Because Golovkin didn't want the fight. Too bad. Boxing would have been better if it happened. Too late.

I love what Ward did in the Super 6. I remember thinking Dirrell was going to win the entire thing. Ward at the time I looked at as too unproven, but he impressed me with each fight. Either you cannot fathom my argument here or purposely ignoring it. I damn well know Ward accomplished a lot then.

I also truly believe, that within 2 years, GGG and Ward will fight. They will butt heads eventually. I don't consider GGG as a top 10 P4P fighter as most of his opponents were low tier. I am also not falling for the BS that takes place in here. I also have seen Ward going after low quality opposition, and on purpose for a long time. Rodriquez I am sorry is not a good fighter, he looks like a bar room brawler. He makes Lemieux look slick for crying out load LOL. I did love his last fight though.

Then we'd miss out on Ggg vs Canelo, a way bigger fight.

And sure Ward gets credit for Abe, its his 3rd best win. It's the wins over Kessler and HOF Froch that put his resume above Gggs

                    • Happy that Mayweather is taking the opportunity to be HBO's products under scrutiny. When he was active in the sport, they had no problem expecting him to take on challenge after challenge. They should be consistent.
