Would you clown on Nelo if he dropped the WBC belt and waited on GGG for a few more fights at 160?? or would you say that is the smart thing to do?

Tactically speaking, it's the smartest thing to do. GGG is approaching his mid 30's and who knows when we'll start seeing some decline. Canelo is 25 and any bit of time between them fighting benefits only him.

... but he should totally fight him in his next fight, who cares.

Not at all, that's the scenario I prefer. I don't consider Alvarez the MW champ. He doesn't fight men that weigh-in at 160lbs, neither did Cotto. His title is merely a technicality and if Golovkin were to destroy him in 2016, he wouldn't receive much credit for it. Let Alvarez develop more then lets have the fight. In the meantime he shouldn't be carrying around the belt of 160lbs men.

He said in an interview after the fight he had no issue fighting GGG. So if he drops the belt to not fight him he should get a lot of ridicule for that.

Nope not at all, at Canelolujah level he doesnt need a belt. So if he drops the belt who cares, GGG has that fight waiting right now if he has the balls to take it.

If he offers to fight GGG at 155/154 with fair terms, then no. I don't see why a guy whose best win is Ryan Rhodes has any obligation to fight at a weight he's never fough before in.

Did he say it without condition, or did he say he'd fight him at 155? I think if GGG came down to 155, Canelo would fight him in a second, if not, I don't think he's in a hurry to do that.
