To be honest, gypsies have backwards and archaic views on pretty much everything and I would no sooner be offended by these kinds of opinions than I would care about them at all. Fury is a boxer not a progressive intellectual.

I doubt he's saying this kind of stuff "just to get a reaction" though. As I say, the gypsy community has Middle Age values. It's one of the core reasons behind the social ostracization they're always crying about.

Tyson Fury did not say anything offensive.

Once again the media is stirring the pot over nothing. Tolerance is NOT the same as acceptance. You tolerate a screaming kid in a restaurant, but you don't like it. You tolerate a smelly guy on the bus, but you don't like it. Being tolerant doesn't mean accepting something 100% and never criticising it.

Fury is tolerant of ****sexuality, but he doesn't like it. Fury is tolerant of women in the workplace, but he doesn't like it. He is NOT saying these people have no rights. He is NOT forcing these people to live their lives the way he wants them to. He is expressing an opinion...

...and in the current social climate there is nothing more offensive than expressing a wrong opinion. In a sport full of cheaters, wife beaters, pimps, rapists, and criminals the media is going CRAZY because some guy said something "offensive". Pathetic.

Yeah, sports figures have only been looked upon as role models since like forever. And there are still a bunch of kids who read the sports magazines and online sites about their favorite athletes.

As for Fury's ignorant views on women and gays, he does need to wise up and get up to 2015, not 1915. To be flamboyant isn't a bad goal in itself... but we already had too many years of an illiterate misogynist at the top of the sport. Fury needs to wake up and smell the coffee, and start being a well read good role model. The times have long since called for it.

Christianity is not about be pc or politically correct.
The gospel is not meant to be watered down and change to the world's
thinking.
The bible is pretty clear.For example the Ten Commandments are not the
ten suggestions.
