Do you think Thurman actually takes the Porter fight?

Haven't heard much out of Keith Thurman lately. I remember a couple years ago he seemed eager to fight Shawn Porter. Now suddenly the fight is right in front of him for the taking and it seems like he might not be ready for a fight of this magnitude. Are we gonna get a big fight or is it gonna be duck time?

This would be a legit big fight in the WW division. The only fight you could say that about in 15 really was Mayweather-Pac

        Does he have a choice?

I was under the impression Haymon's word was final, and the only word of any authority.

We will find out soon. Still its been team Porter who has been vocal about wanting this fight finalized while Thurman is su****iously quiet.

He has already agreed to the fight. He's probably been told to keep quiet like he was the Guerrero fight until it's official. According to pretty much every source, the delay is due to a suitable date/network/venue.

This sums him up 100% just a loudmouth who knows he aint ****, he knows he is chinny and weak that he cant take it as well as he can give it and his skills arent no mayweather (although mayweather was a tough mother****er iron chin) so he cant stop shots from landing clean on him.

But to be honest I think he will be forced to take the Porter fight, he right now trying to price himself out the bout but dont think its gonna work.

I don't think Thurman is the problem. This is just like Garcia/Peterson or Quillin/Jacobs, Haymon seems to be delaying a fight both guys want in some ****** attempt to "build" it. Like Garcia/Peterson and Quillin/Jacobs, he might end up waiting too long and making it less of a fight than it is now.

Neither Thurman or Porter have said anything to suggest they don't want this fight.
