But Wilder will fight yet ANOTHER voluntary in January, and delay fighting Povetkin for several months afterwards, with hopes that Povetkin will by then schedule another fight due to inactivity, so Wilder can AGAIN use it as an excuse to delay fighting Povetkin longer still.
Why did Povetkin's camp request an extension from the WBC then?

Because he is ranked one of the 5 best heavyweights in the world. Wilder doesn't fight top 5 heavyweights. He fights guys ranked 25th or lower. When Wilder fights a top 5 heavyweight I will respect him as a champion. The guy he won the title from was ranked 10th in the world but every other guy he fought was ranked from 25th to 400th in the world by boxrec.

That article is November 17th. On November 4th, before the Wach fight (that's important because that was before Povetkin got cut so that can't be used as an excuse to delay) Povetkin's camp told the WBC that WIN OR LOSE POVETKIN WON'T BE READY FOR WILDER UNTIL APRIL OR MAY. That's when the WBC approved another voluntary for Wilder.

I don't trust the WBC. They didn't even NAME "the representative from Povetkin". Russian sites were saying after Wach that Povetkin and his promoter wanted the fight ASAP, quoting his promoter.

November 17 is more recent than Nov 4, and is from a more credible source than We Be Crooks.

And it's Povetkin's trainer not some unnamed "representative" saying he wants the fight now.

          Povetkin is ready and willing.

Povetkin informed the WBC that he wasn't ready.

When Povetkin's coach said he was ready right now, he didnt mean it as in they are ready to schedual the fight right now, he meant it in the sense of Povetkin being able to beat Wilder when the fight does happen.

You are completely misinterpreting the quote to back up your baseless argument.

Povetkin only fought in November early/mid of that month, fighters usually only fight 2 or 3 times in a year there is no reason a fight with Alexander couldn't be made for February or March its a realistic time-scale but we need both guys to be for it.

I don't think Povetkin fight with Wach was as much pushing it back, should Povetkin not fight at all and just play the waiting game?

Liar. Povetkin never said that, nor did any member of his team.

                      We Be Crooks said it.

His trainer and promoter both said "we're ready NOW".
