Povetkin didn't choose the date, it was the day of a big event in Russia with several world title fight. BUT THE ONLY REASON POVETKIN FOUGHT WACH IS THAT WILDER DEMANDED A SECOND VOLUNTARY AFTER MOLINA AGAINST DUHAUPAS.

Povetkin fought Wach in early November, the craven Wilder is using this as an excuse to avoid him. Povetkin would be ready for February or March, except the pampered Wilder wants another THIRD voluntary in January to delay it several months longer.

Did you read the articles I posted? The one where Povetkin said he was going to rest and wait until negotiations begin in October and then turned around and scheduled a fight in November? He scheduled his fight with Wach before Wilder scheduled his fight with Duhaupus. You're saying he'll be ready in February or March but before his fight with Wach his team told the WBC April or May. Do you work for Povetkin? His team is saying one thing and you're making stuff up.

But Wilder will fight yet ANOTHER voluntary in January, and delay fighting Povetkin for several months afterwards, with hopes that Povetkin will by then schedule another fight due to inactivity, so Wilder can AGAIN use it as an excuse to delay fighting Povetkin longer still.
