    Little G's Team:

    Ca$hnelo's Team:

Not a damn person over at Goldenboy is smiling these days. Oscar looked damn near like a deer in the headlights every time GGG's name was brought up.

He went on a rant about how Canelo hasn't reached his "man strength" yet.

What promoter tells the fans his fighter ISNT EVEN A MAN YET. Come on, those boys are shook.

They've been decimated, and now the public is clamoring for the golden goose to face the big axe.

Canelo may be laughing in that pick, but once he wakes up from GGG's bowling ball fist, and the world stops spinning, it will all dawn on him.

    A-side didn't mean **** when you've been a "good boy."

Hey, not to fret, Canelo will likely be able to come back from being a "good boy."

Good boy Canelo looks better than I fight WW, but I'm a 175-180 pound MW version of Canelo.

They aren't knocking out a deal in 3 days. Prepare for:

      Canelo vs Johnson
      GGG vs Lee

Double header on cinco de mayo

This is not the first time we've seen this scenario. It's the Sergio Martinez/Sebastian Zbik/Julio Chavez Jr situation all over again. The WBC will make Alvarez the Diamond Champion and make Golovkin the regular champion.

GB, HBO, and the WBC don't want Alvarez/Golovkin just yet because there's too much money to lose.

              Diamond Championship
In September 2009, the WBC created its new "Diamond Championship" belt. This belt was created as an honorary championship exclusively to award the winner of a historic fight between two high-profile and elite boxers. The inaugural Diamond Belt was awarded on November 14, 2009 to Manny Pacquiao, who won his sixth world title (in 5 different divisions) via a 12th round technical knockout (TKO) over Miguel Ángel Cotto in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Other holders of this title have included Bernard Hopkins (light heavyweight), Sergio Martínez (middleweight), Floyd Mayweather, Jr. (super welterweight), Nonito Donaire (super bantamweight), Léo Santa Cruz (featherweight), Jean Pascal and Sergey Kovalev (light heavyweight). Although this title can be defended, it is not a mandatory requirement. The title can also be vacated in the case of a fighter's long-term absence or retirement from boxing.

Canelo has a decent shot to beat GGG at full 160, but he's gonna lose 4 years of his career health doing it win lose or draw. No need to rush into a fight like that, but he needs to do the honorable thing and relinquish the title or fight challengers at their full weight.

Canelo's team: "so about the weight... we are willing to go to 155.1291087 ... WBC :"but it's for the middleweight title... 160..." Oscar:" Listen... give the poor boy a chance... he's a red head for god sake! We're willing to go to 155.1291088"
