Lomochenko is ranked #10 P4P... Personally I find it Moronic and obviously too many people feading into these so called "Analyst" pockets... Your thoughts?
Lomochenko #10 P4P... ESPN has some Dreamers!

I agree, he has no business there.
Maybe if he beats Gamboa and gets another belt at 126, but not now. -
I think they've been listening to Roy Jones. I don't think he has the accomplishments to be in that discussion and I think he even knows that. I remember someone asking him about it and him looking almost embarrassed in response to the translation. But he's headed in the right direction imo and if he can have a couple of good years in 2016 and 17, then I think he'll be in there somewhere.
He is FANTASTIC to watch however.Comment

Is that just Rafael or a bunch of ESPN guys coming up with those rankings?
Horrible ranking for a highly respectable guy for how many fights he's at, but who shouldn't be in the top 10 P4P by reasonable boxing fans.Comment

I might have him in the same range if I had a list.
P4p is subjective. Most complaints I see on this board about fighters on p4p list is "who has he beat?" Well, as we all should know, boxing is all about politics and maneuvering now so the best fighters are actually the most avoided ones. It's not like the old days.
The eye test works for me.
If we go by accomplishments, bhop should be #1, yet I don't see him on anyone's list.Comment

it seems p4p rankings on all of these sites and publications are simply about who people like more. No longer about the tings that matter, you know, resume and performance against top ranked fighters from around the world. Loma is an excellent fighter. but hes not p4p material as of now, even if i'm convinced he could be skill wise, his resume is completely bare.Comment
