    Peter McNeeley audio interview.

Ever wonder what became of Peter McNeeley, the first man to face Mike Tyson after "Iron Mike's" release from prison in the mid-nineties? Wonder no more. Eric Greenberg of www.justmyshow.com conducted an interview with the former heavyweight fighter. Whether you were a fan of McNeeley's or not, his interview contains some interesting information concerning his experiences in boxing, centering around the Tyson fight and beyond.

Sadly, it sounds as if perhaps a combination of too much punishment endured and substance abuse have conspired against McNeeley, who slurs through much of the interview. Depicting the latter stages of his career, McNeeley outlines the all too familiar circumstance that affects many fighters lacking opportunity who have to take fights on short notice, and often end up losing dramatically.

Nevertheless, it's an entertainig piece of audio readily available for listening at www.justmyshow.com

That's cool, but the guy obviously had a career at one point, regardless of how it ended up, and a base of fans.

It's a real shame to hear him the way he is, and perhaps a lesson to fighters.
