Which British promoter will benefit most from the British boxing boom?

Is Frank Warren the one who is best positioned to take advantage of the current wave of Brit boxer success?

Perhaps Eddie Hearn? Or Mick Hennessey (who has the real heavyweight champion of the world in his stable?)

Or maybe they'll all benefit. Is this a rising tide that will lift all boats?

Hearn is in the best position due to having Sky Sports almost exclusive backing. He has been able to soak up a lot of the talent in the UK with that platform. Having Anthony Joshua could be huge, and that isnt exaggerating. The guy is in a PPV in a british title fight If he 'makes it' he will be a proper crossover star, millions of pounds and champagne for everyone involved in his career.

I dont know if theres a similar channel in the US, but Sky Sports dominates British sport. They have majority of the Premier League Football, La Liga, Global Cricket, lots of Tennis, lots of Rugby, Boxing, F1 etc. Huge platform.

Warren still has a good foothold. He's an experienced promoter and has a few World Champs himself. If there really was a buzz around UK boxing, an exclusively boxing centered channel could surely profit.

What about Box Nation, does that get a lot of viewers?

I dont know, I would guess not.

Maybe they could capitalize a bit if british boxing continues as it has. But casuals in the UK follow Sky boxing.

Hennessy will get a couple dates from sky now due to fury he also has hughie, Blackwell, haskins and galahad(when he comes back from suspension)
enough of a stable to build decent cards and he'll get the exposure to sign more talent. Hearn will lose those dates also I think that its inevitable that AJ goes out on his own eventually if he keeps winning.

It seems like Hearn has all the fighters.

Hennessey only has Fury. Warren has a couple legit guys in Flanagan and Saunders. Eddie has all the rest.

Yeah Hennessy is in a good position right now. Not sure how long Fury stays champ, but while he is champ Hennessy should be able to get some good dates, maybe starting with a Wembley Klit vs Fury rematch.

I think Joshua might go on his own, but not sure. Hearn has served him well so far. I reckon Joshua sets up his own promo company but still uses Matchroom for all the important stuff (organising event, undercard, promotion etc) similar to what Mayweather promotions was when he was with GBP. American promoters will likely come looking at some point if Josh is at world level

Without a top drawing American heavyweight (Wilder isn't a big drawing guy yet, possibly never) to beat I don't think Joshua can become a big enough star there to warrant leaving the UK. Also how would his career be going if Joshua signed with top rank or GBP straight away would he be getting a lot of fans, would he have had his HBO debut yet?

Im thinking they would promote any fights he has in the US, dont see him basing himself over there
