    Anyone ever order from Ringside?

I assume there are at least a few other fighters here. Last time I ordered from Ringside was years ago still fighting amateur and I ordered a protector and some shoes. Ordered some stuff on Black Friday and of course only half the shipment came last night. Tried to call, forget about that their phone system will loop you or hang up on you (try it for fun)

Seems like the company went from American maybe 6 years ago to clearly foreign with customer service outsourced to India or something. Only way I could get through to anyone was on live chat and the English of the person was about what youd get using Google translator, Very broken.

Bottom line the person just put the other half of my order in now I gotta wait anther week for it. Should be happy Im getting it at all but if anyone uses that company for anything be prepared for a huge letdown if you havent ordered in a while.

I've gotten a pair of gloves from them once. No multiple item orders though.

Indian customer service though Reminds me of this recent South Park skit

I've been ordering from them off-and-on since the early 80's.

I had a chance to visit their facility in KS way back when and it was impressive.

They had a large showroom with most all their gear layed out, bags, a ring, etc.

A few of their employees were fighters and really knew their business - one even started his own company and is a co-owner of Title.

It's a bit sad to read/hear how far downhill Ringside has gone.

Could just be one bad experience that's why I'm asking. Hearing you say this makes me want to keep an open mind. Also since I posted this they sent me a new tracking number for the item they forgot and a customer service survey which tells me maybe they care. We will see though. Everything is 30% right now by the way if you still order stuff. Got a pretty sweet deal on some items.

Ive ordered from them a bunch of times and never had an issue. Maybe it was just a fluke onetime issue.

They got a 30 percent off deal going right now no minimum.

Ive ordered from Everlast before, and they dissappointed me, Everlast has the most prestigious name in boxing yet their goods are garbage, their shoes worn and ripped easy, their gel handwrap gloves ripped up after 20 uses, their bag gloves tore up, their free standing reflex bag is garbage.

The only thing good was their heavy bag with leather, but I ordered another heavybag and they put some bricks in it, they cheated on the weight, it was an 80 pound bag and they put some stones or metal ball in the bottom and all the weight was the bottom so it looked like a tear drop just horrible that they would put some concrete stone thing on the bottom I nearly broke my hand.

Thats so lame. My ringside heavybag has been nice for weekend training since my gym closes on Sunday and I never close. Still too hard on the bottom though. I just ordered a hydrocore thats what Im waiting for. Been wanting one for years just never took the time to get one. They used to have one in a gym I trained at called Nevada Partners and it was awesome. Makes you punch "through" your target and keeps your hands fairly safe. Strengthens your wrist too. Best bags to add or maintain power in my opinion but they will make you flat footed if you dont do your double end bags 2 to 1.
