Also, why is it people here think just cause your a fan of Canelo, you can't be a fan of GGG.

I like both fighters, I don't understand just because you cheer for one people have to turn it into your hating on the other.

This is boxing I have multiple fighters I like, I even really like Cotto. I've never understood that mentality.

Just because a fighter you like is a possible fighter of another, all of a sudden you have to dog the other

Yeah it has nothing to do with the fact that 2 of the top 4 most popular known fighters fought.
It's still a failure. Better than GGG obviously but this fight should have easily done over 1 mil. 2 of the biggest names in boxing(besides PAC and Floyd) fight and can't crack 1 mil buys???wtf

People on here also hatin saying it took a good name to do good numbers.

Well NO ****!!!! That applies to all fighters.

Floyd wasn't doing a mil unless he had another name. See Guererro and Berto.

A fight generates $60M in revenue without Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao, and people still figure out a way to say it wasn't a successful event. Some posters here are truly pathetic :/

Canel has 3 ppvs under his belt. golovkin has 1 and each and every one of canelo's ppvs have outsold golovkin's considerably no matter how you look at it. Canelo bring is the money and he knows it.
Even if the ppv would have done 500k buys Canelo would be the a side. He is th bigger name and yes GGG will have to give into a lot. But the weight shouldn't be one
                Fight at 160!
                Canelo 70-30 split
Fight takes place wherever Canelo wants
Canelos name is first on the promo
                Canelo enters ring second

I don't know the WBC been letting Wilder off with like 3 voluntary's now. I cannot see them actually enforcing the rules and make canelo fight GGG, let alone at 160. The reality is Canelo doesn't want any of GGG and the WBC will most likely side with Canelo
I think the WBC will probably give Canelo one optional defense (probably that double header they talk about) and then they will force him to face GGG somewhere in late 2016. I think they will sit and tell Canelo be a man and accept 158 or we will strip you, and I think GGG might be okay with 158. (Though I would still be mad because it should be at full 160) But mark my words, no way it's happening at 155.

I'm glad you came over to our side. Now you are no longer spouting unsubstantiated bull**** on a message board. Now, your opinion is actually supported by someone who matters and has a clue -- like HBO and ESPN.
