Its like people dont realize what fury was doing is the reason wlad couldnt get off i just dont get it. People are talking like fury won because wlad forgot how to box or something.

Like fury is a weird style its way better then it looks i mean fury controlled distance he kept wlad at bay with feints and he landed jabs at perfect time to stop wlad in his tracks. Im sick of these idiots trying to say fury won by default when he is the reason wlad looked so bad. I also dont get how people were bored i mean were talking about one of the greatest hw reigns in history a major underdog that everyone been making fun of for years boxing wlads ass off and people were bored? I mean if u were not entertained by that fight maybe boxing is not for you.

I get it the fight was slow but there was so much more going on just the drama of it all whether or not fury could win decision everything whether wlad would land one his vaunted rights win dramatic ko. i swear tho some boxing fans dont pay attention to feints angles distance control i swear some boxing fans see one thing thats if a punch lands or not. Its frustrating and its not good for the sport in my opinion that people are only entertained by certain styles
Great post mate. I agree with every word.

With Fluff being the champ it doesn't make a strong statement for the division, here's hoping the two guys actually come to fight in the rematch instead of throwing 78% of missed punches one of the worst performances for a world title fight of all time?

          Well said.

I agree completely. It takes a bit of boxing exposure and knowledge to understand the logic behind, and the reasoning behind why Fury was so effective, and why feints and movement can have such an impact on your opponent. Boxing is a chess match, and Wlad never knew where to position his pieces on the board because Fury was always one step ahead, one step out of reach, one slip away, and concealed his approach with feints and constant movement.

A pure masterclass, only the haters, and the KDSAB club can deny it.

Tyson Fury would give any HW in history a tough nights work imo. A highly skilled 6ft9 switch hitter with an 85″ reach and who moves like a SMW, who can throw every punch in the book, who can fight on the inside etc. Even his chin is underrated, he was still on his feet after taking those clean rights from Wlad in the 12th, who is regarded as one of the p4p strongest punchers.

I'm not going to do an Elroy and claim that my guy is the GOAT or anything like that, but Fury is a problem for any boxer past or present.

no doubt i think a lot of it has to do with fury dont look like your typical boxer that uses that style. I dont know what it is but for whatever reaosn when people watch him fight they see an uncoordinated fighter when he is actually in balance almost always.

Hey go eat a 5 way at Skyline. There is not one current American heavy worth a darn that is even athletic. Maybe Joshua in the UK has the skills to be the next great fighter. Fury has few skills and all the Russians are the same robotic stiffs.

Couldn't agree with you more. Fury and Wlad were terrible in a fixed fight. Maybe Joshua is the next great heavy in the world. The USA has no one currently worth a darn at heavy. Wlad threw that fight. Fluff has no boxing skills and should have been KO'd.

Fluff Fury is terrible with few boxing skills and just a lumbering cartoonish stiff Oaf. Outside of being 6'9" Fluff has nothing but size and little power and poor mobility. Fluff is a large soft joke. Wlad threw the fight and collected millions.
