  • Comments Thread For: Froch: Fury Will Be Better, Klitschko Will Look Poor Again

Former super middleweight champion Carl Froch believes Wladimir Klitschko is making a very big mistake in exercising his right to an immediate rematch with Tyson Fury.

Last Saturday night in Dusseldorf, Fury pulled off an upset win that rocked the boxing world, when he won twelve round unanimous decision over Klitschko to capture the WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight titles. Klitschko was undefeated for over a decade and champion for nearly that length of time.

Tyson no matter what he said before the fight, he wasn't sure if he could beat Wlad. He hoped he could of course and had faith in his own ability but you can never be sure. But now he is sure he can beat him so will be even better theoretically in the rematch.

Wlad I agree wont do much better. Wlad has come back from losses from being ko'ed so has never cut corners in training like he may have done prior to his losses. So he would have done everything in training for Fury that he could have done. There is nothing more he can add now and no room for improvement.

Absolute bollocks. Tyson has been calling out Wlad for years and has always said it would be an easy fight for him, and it was. Fury believes that he can beat anyone.

He could throw his right hand more often, instead of waiting in vain for the perfect shot. He needs to be willing to hit Fury wherever he can: the arms, the shoulders, chest. Just throw the right hand more often instead of holding it in reserve.

He's got nothing to lose by committing to a more offensive strategy, since Fury probably doesn't have the power to KO him. Fury caught him flush with a few good shots and Klitschko never looked like going down. But Klitschko absolutely has the power to at least knock Fury down if he creates his own openings instead of just hoping Fury will make them for him.

Anyway, there's definitely plenty of room for improvement since it could hardly have been any worse for Wlad.

Funny how Carla Froch went from slurping off Wlad to biggin up Fury

Peter Fury told Carla he knows nought about boxing.

Just because he said it doesn't mean he actually believed it, he had to look brave and appear as if he was an alpha male and not show weakness. He believed he could beat him, but until you get in the ring you don't know what will happen. But now he has beat him rather just thinking he can beat him. So his confidence will be up. Before Fury thought he could beat him. Now he knows he can beat him is the moral of the story.
So calm down and what I said wasn't B*ll@cks, Fury will tell ya that.

Yes Wlad can improve, but you cant say he underestimated Fury so would have trained hard. For lamont Brewster he may have cut corners, or just fought too brave back then hanging his chin out while throwing powerful punches.

Clinchko needs to get rough and dirty to get inside. He only needs to land one good shot on that big dumb goofy Turd.

Fair play to Wlad if he takes the rematch it will be interesting and there'll probably more drama second time around with their different levels of confidence ....Tyson won't be a 1/4 underdog this time !
