Comments Thread For: Hughie Fury Could Have "Major" Fight In February

Hughie Fury could have up to five or six fights in 2016, including a major one in February, according to his trainer and father Peter.

The 21-year-old (17-0, 9 KOs) heavyweight had been due to make his eighteenth appearance last Saturday night in Dusseldorf, on the same night as his cousin Tyson who won multiple world honours in the heavyweight division when he outpointed Wladimir Klitschko over 12 rounds. This lad hasn't been too well in recent times, so has progressed slower than anticipated. But take your time and you will do good things in the future. Maynot get to Tyson fury before Wilder, Haye or Joshua.
But will be a future champ possibly but hard to tell at this stage.

Yeah, although i'm not sure what's happening with Chisora at the moment as he seems to have parted ways with Frank Warren and on bad terms too.

Anyone know if he's signed with any other promoter?

              Chisora has signed with Sauerland.

Huge fight as in nobody is gonna hold the heavybag for him and he will have to deal with it swinging around.

Match him up against the Teper/Helenius fight who both will likely be in line to fight for the IBF world title in 2016.

I understood that the BBBofC had ordered John McDermott to defend his English title against Fury or retire!
