Comments Thread For: Klitschko's Manager Not Ruling Out Wembley/UK Rematch

Wladimir Klitschko says the desire to prove a point is behind his decision to take up his option on an immediate rematch against new world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Klitschko admitted he underperformed in losing his crown to Fury in a below-par contest in Dusseldorf last Saturday night and did not take long to reject any possibility of retirement.

Hope the fight is at Wembley! I'll be there if it is.

Fury must fight Vitali Klitscko and lose, Vitali must then rematch Lennox Lewis in the biggest fight the world has ever seen, at Wembley in front of 90,000 fans.

I'm a Klitschko fan first, but K2 has zero choice in where the next fight should be. When you're the champ, you get to make those choices. If you want to pick the venue, become the champ again. This one should be in Wembley. 80k fans will generate more money than 50k in germany. Sorry Wlad, but you're going to have to fight like a true champ if you want to call the shots. Failure was an option (sorry--I'm still just mad at my fighter for that pi$$ poor showing).

I don't think Klitschko will challenge where the fight is held, I think K2 will willingly and unwaveringly go to England.

As they should as the B side now.

Klitschko isn't going there to coast this time and have to worry about a foreign body of judges. He's going there to attempt to overwhelm Fury totally.

Wladdy has to ditch the defence for this last fight (or 2nd to last should he want to symbolically bash out Wilder, should Wilder want any part of a real opponent).

I don't know why people think every fight that comes to the UK can fill out Wembley now.

I honestly have my doubts that this fight can. The first fight wasn't exactly a barnburner.

Its a stadium fight, for sure, but not Wembley (unless the card is loaded and the tickets cheap...)

I dont think they fill it out completely but i think about 80%. Fury has beaten the man to beat and the rematch is gonna be bigger and more interesting to the fans than the first one.

Taxes are astronomical in England plus Wlad can't do his Roids and buy the test results over there. Fury should tell the BBC to suck his ass for fining him all those times over words, and tell them the money they WONT be making off his fights is his refund. Screw Germany too. Barclays, Barclays, Barclays.
