HBO had better fights. Better fights get more views/buys. Cong**** to them. I wasn't excited about DeGale vs Bute, but I was excited about Wlad-Fury. Unfortunately DeGale vs Bute was the better fight, so those 269k that saw that fight had a better time than those who most likely went to sleep during the 3rd round with their remote in their hand during the Wlad-Fury fight, and probably not of being tired, most likely from getting bored to sleep. If DeGale can just have some showcase fights against more decent names like Golovkin and Chavez Jr, more people can see he's a decently exciting fighter. I'm guilty of skipping DeGale vs Bute and watching the HW fight.Comment

I hate how these main events are starting to come on so late. I have complained about it several times already, it's from both HBO and Showtime. The Cotto vs Canelo undercards put some of my buddies off because some people do work on Sundays or have to do something, like homework, etc. I remember when about 11PM you could expect the main event to come on. Now you have main events ending at 1AM. It's as if premium networks are deliberately trying to get people not to watch boxing so they can remove it from their schedule and free up their budget for some other more marketable sport.Originally posted by saint laurentWas an 11pm start time on the east coast for a two fight telecast.
