So, a lot of you experts favor Canelo to beat GGG because all GGG's beaten so far are cab drivers, etc. Well, what happens if and when Golovkin wins? Do we then regard Canelo's wins as sub cab drivers? Maybe rickshaw operators?

GGG will fight Canelo the same way he fought Lemieux. Canelo will be sitting on the end of a very long, hard jab all night long. GGG can also land hooks to the body and uppercuts from the outside. And, unlike the Cotto fight where he had a 15lb weight advantage, he'll be feeling every power shot GGG throws. Canelo will have to close the distance to land body shots if he wants to have any chance. Problem is GGG's a master with footwork and distance, and he's also a great counterpuncher. Canelo's improving but he's still a couple of levels below GGG as a boxer.

Where is it written that GGG will accept fighting for the WBC belt at 155 lbs.? I don't think he has to accept a catchweight fight and if the WBC enforces the proper rules Canelo will have to fight him at 160 or forfeit the title. The WBC is Mexico based with a long history of favoritism to Mexicans so maybe they will back Canelo with the catchweight but they shouldn't. Time will tell. I still think GGG would win at 155. He says he can make as low as 154 and he is a real pro who has been fighting his whole life. I am sure he knows what weight he can comfortably make. He isn't Dawson.

I don't know why. Especially when the same people say GG has only beaten bums so far. Could it be that they're only fooling nobody but themselves?

Did you notice Cotto sticking that jab in Canelo's face all night? GGG has a better and much harder version of a jab and is bigger and has legit power. I wouldn't rule out an upset but I'd say the odds would be like 3-1 in favor of GGG.

Clottey supposedly weighed 170 vs Corrales at a catchweight of 149. Both guys look like middleweights.

Clottey didn't look this big vs Pacquiao.
Okay I stand corrected. I confused his fight night weight aganst Pacquiao with the Corrales unofficial weigh in. I think he did looked pretty big at the Pac fight, which is why he moved after. But we will never truly know. I wonder where I saw 170 though, I have a feeling maybe t was Earnie the Everlast guy who said it, but don't want to put words in his mouth. It was just common knowlege in my head, as if someone in the fight said it or something, or Clottey said it himself after the fight. Many people said it around the time, though I forgot if it stems only from the Corrales fight. It could just be a myth started by just one fight night weight.

As of right now, Canelo and his team have said the figght should be at 155. They see something that they fear, like others have.

It doesn't mean that they will lose, but they fear something or they would have take it.

That goes for GGG and Ward.
