Thats because he can fill out more. You gotta remember, some of these boxers look tiny while they're still active but once they retire they blow up and look more "normal".

Plus on top of that, the fight is just in a few days so he's probably close to 160 now.

No disrespect to Mayweather but at this point of his career hes a public image and promoter so just because he hugs someone in public or endorses a fighter doesnt make him (the fighter) any better

PBC has lost a lot of money already this year with tv ratings in the toilet and can't afford to pay the fighters huge purses so they need showtime to pay the purse. Thats why you seeing a influx of top haymon fighters going back to showtime rather then on PBC. PBC cards the last few months of the year feature far less big names then earlier the year because they are trying to limit the amount of money each PBC card loses. Which means fighters either taking pay cut or instead of filling cards with your A list fighters instead filling with B and C class haymon fighters while the A list goes back to showtime.

Why do you keep making up stuff? The plan from start of pbc was to have boxers appear on free tv to build fan base and have them return to network to drive up ratings pbc has the budget if they wanted to put the fight on nbc,cbs,ESPN etc
