Could this be a sign of Floyd's return?

Floyd Mayweather Jr is has organised an open-workout in Russia that hopes to draw the biggest crowd that there ever has been for a workout.

I personally don't even consider Floyd retired, and believe he will definitely fight on. But for those who are less sure, is this a sign of his return?

If I wanted to retire from the sport, I wouldn't be travelling to Russia to host a record-breaking work out. To me this, this shows that Floyd doesn't want to hang them up just quite yet.

    Thoughts?

What does that have to do with a comeback?

I am feeding this people on the BS. What's wrong with speculation anyway? Does no harm at all.

If you truly wanted to retire from the sport, would it be on your list to host a record breaking open work out in Russia 3 months later? Probably not. To me, seems like he doesn't quite want to give the sport up and still wants to generate some speculation of a come back.

Well i think most people in boxing feel he will fight once more at least.

I suppose it's difficult to retire when you're at the top and can still pick up a cool $30m at the very least. No matter how rich you are, $30m is a huge amount of money and he's not that rich in the grand scheme of what real wealth is. He's just rich for an athlete.

I think he should walk away from a boxing perspective but from a business point of view, anyone would be a fool to be turning down those amounts of money when you can still beat everyone around your weight. But then you have to know when to hang them up as well.

As far as what it means it's hard to say.

Retired boxers hang around the sport all the damn time. Don't be naive.

You're also assuming he's doing this for free, and there's no upside.
