Sergey Khomitsky (30-12-3, 13 KOs) will get another chance to become a Brit-slayer when he faces middleweight John Ryder, live on Sky Sports, on January 30 at the Copper Box Arena, London.

Khomitsky is three, three and one in his series against British fighters which dates back to 2009 when he lost to the now four-time world title challenger Martin Murray on points in an eight round contest.

Actually props to whoever keeps bringing him over here to test the mettle of these prospects despite the risks. Sergeis a tough tough customer and a really good gatekeeper / yardstick to the higher levels of the sport - kinda represents the cut-off point between domestic and world level guys.
