It's not about which belt you have. If you beat the guy that was recognised as the true champion of the division, then you're the real champ. In this case Fury beat the recognised champ. Wilder beat Stiverne for a title that was vacated by Vitali.

And look at how Stiverne and Arreola have done since. Both going life and death with actual part time boxing bums.

Wilder v Stiverne must be one of the worst heavyweight title fights ever, not in terms of entertainment but in terms of talent. Neither have beaten any half decent opposition, Arreola's best days were about 7 years ago and he wasn't even that good then.
