Ward - Froch, Kessler, Abraham, Dawson, Bika

GGG- Lemieux, Monroe Jr., Martin Murray, Macklin, Rosado

Ward and it aint even close, its not GGG fault at MW other top guys dont want to fight him but Ward is easily a better resume by far at this moment in time.

I'm surprised this is even a debate people are having, honestly.

Thats why GGG is listed above Ward on every P4P list? P4P lists compare resumes in a objective system.

There are long time boxing writers, analysts, trainers and former boxers who take part and decide on the ratings.

Check out the video. Thats what the thread is about, not your partial list. GGG = more active, more decisive wins, broader spectrum of opponents. 15 defenses, all by knockout etc. Ward might have 3 opponents who are better than GGGs opponents, but thats basically it. Every category GGG is ahead.

Lol, not at the video (haven't watch it) but just at the mere suggestion at comparing them. No need to at all.....no point. There is zero comparison as of now.

Ward is the one of the most over-rated fighters in the last 20 years. He fights D-level opposition, to say his resume is better than GGG's is nothing but a fanboy talking.

Lets not act like Ward wasnt in a legal battle with his former promoter which resulted in him being inactive. We are talking about resumes here my friend and Ward is way better just accept it.

If you want to place GGG higher than him p4p thats fine....at this precise moment due to Wards inactivity but lets not forget the ONLY reason he is because of Wards inactivity.

Styles make fights also Ward is not known as a power puncher, he beats people with his higher grade boxing ability (yes he is a better boxer than GGG, do you want to give him an extra point for that?)

You can try and twist it which way you want Ward resume is better you even said yourself he has 3 better opponents so why are we even discussing this?

You could say at WW pacquiao has a better resume than Mayweather because he stopped DLH, Hatton and Cotto whilst you could argue Floyd struggled with all 3 and beat them on points. Just because you stop an opponent doesnt mean your resume is better.

Should GGG be higher p4p?, yes due to Wards inactivity and recent opponents. Level of opposition is key, and until GGG fights someone elite then Wards resume is better.
