[QUOTE=Left2body] Hatton is a swarmer and thats basically all he can do. He can no longer be a boxer like he did in the first 2/3's of his career. Hatton probably couldn't ever box with PBF.

      ricky hatton = class

stylewise in the ring I like floyd better than anyone else around, but hatton deserves respect for giving respect. He is one of the classiest acts in boxing.

(but floyd used to be like that when he was at 130, too, and seems to be getting back to good boy behavior)

This should be a great fight, hatton has the combination of style and speed to spell problems for mayweather, and mayweather is trouble to everyone.

I've seen about 12-14 of Ricky's fights, but most without audio and a few clips of him sparring with a friend of mine Patrick Maxwell. I view Hatton as a sort of Gatti. Versus non-elite and slower fighters he sometimes picks apart guys but he swarms against better competition.

Patrick actually also thinks that Hatton will be to much for PBF and we have a standing personal bet if they ever actually fight each other.

Dude, get your facts right. Get your life right.
My mistake, it's 22,000 not 50,000. The point I was making is that Ricky made the entire arena give Tszyu a round of applause as a sign of respect.

There's no need to be so rude, I guess your a pretty tough guy when your talking over the internet...well done, we're all very impressed.

Hatton sys that Mayweather is avoiding him by moving up??? What is he supposed to do , wait for Hatton to grow some balls? Mayweather is trying to get major fights no need to stay in the same weight and wait for one man.

He said that's what he could say in response to someone telling him that he's ducking Floyd.

His point seemed to be that he doesn't think either of them is ducking the other at this point.

all i see it is another excuse from hatton. So hatton is building up his rep in the US by fighting tune ups? I believe kostya vs. hatton was televised on showtime so american boxing fans knew who hatton was. it was hatton who decided not to pick up the fight against floyd
