Well, I just went from wanting Lee to win to now wanting Saunders. Haymon's trying buy back the WBO so he can keep it for his guys w/o having to fight Golovkin. Atleast if Saunders wins he could end up fighting Alvarez prior to Golovkin.

Cool. Like the match ups and the possibility of the winners facing each other

        Smart Move

That's a good fight and it's smart for Showtime to try to keep any of those guys from fighting on HBO. The bigger names and money are with HBO however.

If I was either I would dangle a unification fight with either especially Canelo to get more money and exposure.

Showtime continuing to invest in the wrong divisions and wrong fighters... the only fighters that matter at Middleweight are named Triple G and Canelo...

HBO has a stranglehold on Showtime now... Al Haymon destroyed the Network and the Network banked on Mayweather and only really got 2 successful PPVs for Mayweather-standards..

          <~~Al Haymon to Showtime

Cinnamon fights in his own made up weight class, glovtard has no one to fight at mw, and the May and pac fight alone made that whole showtime deal a huge success but hey haters gotta hate

Saunders said he's not gonna face GGG, win or lose.

Showtime got this basically because HBO which originally was interested passed on the fight because they already have a loaded card of fights that night. I think 5 hours of boxing with Jennings vs Ortiz in the main event. But they got Nicolas walters, Rosado vs Clottey, Gonzalez vs shabransky, and Gamboa all on HBO and HBO Latino that night. If they picked up the Lee fight as well they would have boxing from like 5pm to Midnight. Thats just too much boxing lol They better hope people watch this fight live because the re air will get killed head to head with HBOs loaded card.

HBO has the A side middleweight fights. None of Show times fights are for what fans consider the true middleweight championship.

From the outside looking in it appears to be that HBO is transitioning out of boxing. I wouldn't be surprised to see some big HBO names on other networks in a few years.
