Fury's a negative master. Amazing how he was able to continually force Wlad into a shell without even throwing a punch.
Fury puts spells on people. Notice how he was waving his hands about in the air? That's some gypsy ish right there.Comment

Wilder does look dreadful in that stoppage. Dude was airborne, ffs. It is very rare that a guy getting absolutely chinned looks like the better boxer than the guy chinning him by virtue of maintaining a proper stance. Wilder looked like he was on his way over the top rope.
Wilder is a guy who is obviously better than he looks though. He looks crap at times.
it looked really weird but I dont read too much into it, the other guy kept wobbling back and its like wilder already decided to throw the combo he wanted to throw and when the guy was moving he just kept going with it instead of moving forward and doing something else.
If the guy wasnt out on his feet though and he did that chit at some other time he leaves himself open for a giant one punch counter KO shot.Comment

If you work out hahayou'd know that the longer your muscles the harder you work, you have to lift longer than the smaller guy

Wlad threw the fight and made some say $50 million bets
It was a thrown fight by Wlad that is obvious but how terrible Wlad threw the fight. But Fury is such a weak opponent any given punch would have taken that clumsy Oaf goofball out. Wlad near 40 made a small fortune for his retirement account in the fix. Vitali got millions for arms for the Ukrainies also. The commies pulled one over on all of us. Even ***** is smiling threw his crooked teeth.Comment

I remember seeing a stat a year ago where Klitschko avg. around 500 punches per fight over his last 12 fights or so. Which isn't all that much. That's about over 40 punches per round. He has devastating power so it shouldn't be too big of a surprise to see his low output.
He was trying to look for openings to try and set up that KO but Fury was crafty and gave him all different types of looks and threw him off balance.
Also the loop Fury had on his shots, made them slow enough to block, but also slow enough that the reflex based things like catch and counter, go out the window when a punch takes so long to reach you that you are actually thinking about it instead of just reacting instinctively.
He also had trouble getting his jab going. In the later rounds he found a home for his jab, and his right hand. I think in a rematch, he knows how to get those in from the first round.
Furys strategy was literally to dance his way to a championship.
In a rematch, we will either see one of two things. Wlad has indeed grown old, and cant pull the trigger anymore. Which is the classic sign of a great fighter that just cant make it happen anymore. Or we see Wlad start the fight like a few of the later rounds, where he knows the range for his Jab, and comes in with short hooks inside Tysons sloppy right hands.
Would be a good fight to see a rematch of.Comment

Still a stinker of a fight, and as disappointing a performance it was for Wlad, it was a rather shameful performance from Fury, who actually showed he has more skills than he has been given credit for, and refused to use them to do much other than keep Klit from attacking, and dancing around the ring.Comment
