Do you watch boxing? Or are you just talking for the sake of it? Wilder has already fought in the UK. If you don't like him, just tell us.

Povetkin needed his tunuep against Wach first, or else the fight would've already gone on. I'm surprised Povetkin fans still want the fight after seeing what Fury and Jennings did to Wlad, while Povetkin was getting blown out lol.

What did Jennings do to Wlad? Other than lose every round?

I think thr plan for Wilder has always been to wait out Wladimir until he looked vunurable enough to take him on. Wlad looked like **** against Jennings. But, Fury beat him to it. I think Deontay more than likes his chances against Fury. Probably more than he likes his chances against Provetkin. And I'm sure he'd probably be willing to drop his meaningless trinket for a shot at Fury. Problem is, he's looked like **** his last two fights and there's no demand for Fury-Wilder. And without the belt, I doubt Fury entertains fighting him.

Povetkin didn't get blown out by Wlad. He was clinched and fouled to death in one of the dirtiest title fights of all time. Had the referee bothered to enforce the rules and not let Wlad clinch 867 times each round that fight would have been a hell of a lot closer. Jennings had the benefit of having a ref who actually penalised Wlad. Big difference.

Nice to see that Wilder is at least willing to go to the UK to face Fury. If he can get past Povetkin early next year hopefully Fury is willing to give him a shot by next fall. And if Wilder can't get past Povetkin then Fury should still give him a shot down the line. Styles make fights and I think Wilder vs Fury would produce fireworks.

On a serious note though, deontay definitely has the power to Ko Fury but will he get to land anything? fury is a lot smarter in the ring than is perceived. And I'd say if deontay fought his neanderthal Windmill stylehe may get dropped by short counters.
I think Wilder v Fury would be a great fight.

One thing about Wilder, he isn't afraid of just "throwing down".

                    Agreed.

Klitchko should have probably been DQ'd against Povetkin.

Yep. I think the reason Wilder's opponent hasn't been named yet is because it's another can.

Yep. Plus, does he really think he carries enough weight to make Fury come to Alabama? I live one state over and I hate going there. Ha
This fight would likely be in England or never happen.

You may be cursing your existence after the fight. Fury is fast and tricky for a huge HW.

Indeed. It'll be an excellent event for the sport. And I'd imagine we'll see it within 2 years. Not 5 years like the IV King likes it.

Wlad was Povetkin's only loss... and Wlad hit a new high (low?) in clinches. And every fight Povetkin gets better. I wouldn't count the guy out. Don't be surprised if he stops Wilder... IF that fight ever happens.
