2014: Adonis Stevenson for his shameless duck of Kovalev:

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

    The candidates for 2015 are:

    1. Frankie Gomez - Had a golden opportunity to fight on Canelo's undercard but came in overweight. Then has a second fight later this year and misses the welterweight limit by 3 pounds.

    2. Roberto Garcia - Missed weight for fights with Shawn Porter and Errol Spence, blowing his opportunity to fight on PBC.

    3. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. - For creating his own weight class, not being able to make weight in his own weight class, getting stopped by Fonfara then saying he thought he won the fight.

    4. BJ Flores - In his commentary he always defends the boxer for using movement and blames the opponent for not cutting the ring off. Yet, he let the clumsy Shumenov box circles around him, then complained that he was running. When his trainer instructed him to cut the ring off, he responded "HOW"
So youre just gonna forget about 48 and his one armed saga? thats clown of the year for me above anyone else you mentioned.

I have to vote for Stoolio. Garcia is a very close second.

Chavez Jr for me. If you're going to create your own weight class, you'd better be able to make the weight.

I believe he got offered $300k to which he declined. Got denied a bump by Floyd. Went to purse bid & think the winning bid was like $130k & Mayweather Promotions didn't even submit a bid lol. And then after months & months of talk where it seemed like the fight may or may not happen he ends up getting the title taken away. And he also got shots fired by Mayweather at Mayweather's retirement post fight press conference about this situation just for the cherry on top.
I didn't know that. I thought he was hurt.

I think later on past most of the stuff (gifting of a title fight, $300k refusal, purse bid) I mentioned & right near the end of his reign he did claim a hand injury. I think, pun intended, his hand had been played before that happened doe.

Good list..but can Amir Khan get some recognition? In 2015, where his adviser bought time on every network and mostly all of his hundreds of fighters got 2 or more tv fights, Khan fought one time....against Chris Algieri...on Spike.

What Garcia did is more clownish because he doesn't have the excuse of being a draw like Chavez Jr. does.
